Hello friends! Happy Sunday!
Another week has passed by and we are inching closer to the end of the year. It’s hard to believe. When we are kids, it seems like time passes by slowly. After you graduate high school and begin college or work, time seems to quicken. Before you know it, you’re a full-fledged adult, with bills and responsibilities. Crazy.
Think back to January. The start of the new year. Many people set out with a renewed perspective and goals that they wanted to achieve. If you had resolutions, what were they? Have you worked toward achieving them? Have you achieved them? If not, don’t feel bad. Don’t get upset. You’re not alone. Many people forget about their resolutions by February, as life starts to get back to normal after the excitement of the holidays.
Here’s the thing. You don’t need the promise or the glimmer of a new year to set a goal or to change your life. It may sound cheesy, but everyday is a new beginning. Everyday is a chance to work toward achieving whatever you want in life. All you have to do is decide on what it is that you want. Be specific. Then, dedicate yourself to achieving it. It’s that simple… and not so simple. You have to be willing to do whatever it takes. You have to be willing to work hard. You have to truly want it. And.. you have to be ready to ditch your excuses and find solutions.
I’ve compiled a few quotes to help empower you to change your life. Start today. You got this.
Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity.
-Sir Frances Bacon
Don’t make change too complicated: Instead just begin.
I stopped looking for the light. Decided to become it instead.
-Francheska, Hey Fran Hey.
Oh how we forget
That everything is a choice
And we can decide.
-Tyler Knott Gregson
You are a perishable item. Live accordingly.
I can. I will.
It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to has power over you, if you allow it.
Being positive won’t guarantee you’ll succeed. But being negative will guarantee that you won’t.
Life has no limits, except the ones you make.
If you want something you never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.
And suddenly you just know that it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.
